Bay’s Custom Cartridges offers a firearms range to practice and train on your firearm. South Carolina firearm range rules generally emphasize SAFETY. Key points include treating all firearms as if they are loaded, maintaining muzzle control, and ensuring safety of the target and area before firing. Specific regulations, rules, and questions can be directed to staff on-site, but these core principles should be observed at all times.
SAFETY FIRST
- Treat all firearms as if they are loaded: This means always keeping your firearm pointed in a safe direction and ensuring it’s unloaded when not in use.
- Maintain muzzle control: Keep your firearm pointed downrange and never point it at anyone.
- Be sure of your target and what is beyond: Verify that your target is safe and there are no people or objects in the path of the bullet.
- Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire: This prevents accidental discharge
